Remograph announces pre-release of Remo 3D, a new 3D modeling tool

Linköping, October 3rd, 2005
Remograph today announced the pre-release (v0.7) of a new 3D modeling tool called Remo 3D. Remo 3D is an effective tool for creating and modifying 3D models intended for realtime visualization. The primary file format is OpenFlight®. Remo 3D is currently available for Microsoft® Windows® XP/2000 and Linux.
Remo 3D v1.0 will be available shortly. Until then, a demo version of the pre-release v0.7 can be downloaded from our website.

I have downloaded the demo (it has all functionality, except you can't save a model with over 100 polys). It seems quite Creator like. One difference is the ability to see vertices (or light strings) in the hierarchy, which is nice. Overall it seems pretty nice, but mostly because the hotkeys and such are setup to mimic Creator. I could use it for modeling.
I even ran into a bug and tech support helped me out with the eval version. |
